Do you, or does someone you know, need help now?

Tell us what you think: complaints, compliments and suggestions

The Mental Health, Addiction and Intellectual Disability Service (MHAIDS) welcomes compliments, suggestions and complaints. Receiving feedback gives us an opportunity to improve our services and to pass on compliments to our hard working staff.

If you have a compliment or suggestion, please complete the feedback form below and we will forward it to the relevant department.

If you have a concern or complaint about your current care, we encourage you to speak to the staff who are looking after you. Often such issues can be resolved straight away.

To send us a compliment, suggestion or complaint, you need to follow the process for the DHB in the area you live in. Use the links below to go to the relevant web page for your DHB:

  • Capital & Coast (Wellington, Porirua and part of Kapiti)
  • Hutt Valley (Hutt City, Upper Hutt, Petone, Wainuiomata and Eastbourne)
  • Wairarapa (Martinborough, Featherston, Greytown, Carterton, Masterton and outlying rural districts)
